And finally in todays postathon is this big yellow beauty. It's still not finished in that I intend to add on extra panels to make a bigger picture. But this panels all done and dusted so post it I shall.

       As you can see from this picture of the carnage that is my studio space, my work is all over the place so rather than attempt to post it all in chronological order I will post it in categories. So first up is a selection of works on paper.

I'm alive

   Its been a while since I posted here as the last few months have been hectic to say the least. Summer came and went in a blur of non art related work leaving me exhausted and unmotivated hence the lack of posts, and it's taken me this long to get round to it, sorry folks. I did do several commissions over the summer but somehow forgot to photograph them so no pics I'm afraid. I will try and get copies.

    Once summer was over and I got back into the studio its been a different story and I have managed to get a lot of work done which I will now attempt to post here in some sort of order. I'll work backwards so here's a couple of pieces from the summer.

Been and gone

The meadows festival has been and gone, our little art tent went down well despite the ordeal of hanging  over a hundred frames. It was a lot of work but all the positive reactions we got made it worthwhile. Here's a few photeys of how it all looked.

Framed a lot of work for this installation, so I used it as an opportunity to rework some older pieces that I never finished,  here's a few examples.

Prints for sale

I have a bunch of screen prints ready for sale at our exhibition at the meadows festival, but thought I would also put them up on here for anybody who might be interested in purchasing them. Just email me if you are keen at johncheethm@yahoo.co.uk. They are all screen printed by hand on heavyweight paper, signed and available in a limited edition of 10 each.
