its all in the details

So I did a liitle bit more work on this piece and have now decided it IS finished. I didn't change anything just added a bit more detail here and there, if anyone can spot where email me and you win a prize. Its now been taken off the wall and replaced by a bigger board. Let the fun commence.

not a mark

Went in to the studio today with the aim of finishing this piece. After staring at it, mulling over ideas I still wasn't sure what to do to it.It seemed a bit plain, but then I liked it plain so I kept staring until about four hours had passed and I hadn't added a mark to it.Frustrating. But looking at it now its perhaps good that I didn't as I quite like it again, maybe it is finished after all?

Dundee Yellow

photo transfer on spray painted board
Its been a while since I last wandered around Dundee so i really hope this guy still sits on the bench next to the church in town everyday. I always envied his parker, it takes years to look this smooth and then shortly after you end up like my avian friend below.

Reluctant party-goer number 2

Finally had some time to finish this painting, started before Christmas. Its part of a series along with the wooden balloon boy, but i'm considering just doing one more and then starting a big party scene painting. Time will tell as I change my mind regularly. Anyway here's the latest pics
Charlie and Boog were ready to party (122x53 cm)

Will have to get it up on a wall and take some better photos, there's a lot of stuff in the background that you cant really make out in this.
