Beware le poulet

So it's been an interesting week of painting in that almost everything I have done has had some part of it go wrong, such as different paints deciding to have crazy chemical reactions and drying nothing like I intended, but hey life goes on. I will soldier on and hopefully something good will come out of this weeks comedy of errors, in the meantime here's a small piece I did to cheer myself up, you can't beat masked chickens for putting things in perspective.

playtime

Its so nice to be able to just make work without having to worry about deadlines for a while, that will change again soon but for the moment i'm making the most of it. Here's my latest finished piece.....

40x22 inches
and some pictures of my space all set up for assessment. Always nice to see paintings all mounted and on the wall.

Now, off to play

shindig

I painted this a couple of months ago, after weeks of painting it just kind of fizzled out and I never got any further with it. Its a biggy at six foot wide, and although I think its finished I have never been completely happy with it, it somehow already seems really old as it differs to my newer work, but it was fun to do and I learnt a lot so I thought I'd share it anyway.
